Yeah, sorry about getting THAT stuck in your head, but I've got good reason: Our newest single, "Belladonna" just charted at #18 on Gryphon Heart Radio's "Final Countdown", a listener based top 20. Not too shabby since it only debuted on the show last Wednesday.
Final Countdown is broadcast tonight, at 8:00 pm Pacific/11 Eastern. here's the link:

Last week, we did a show with five other bands at New Brookland Tavern in Columbia, S.C. Load-in was at 5 p.m., but we weren't scheduled to take the stage until 10:30 p.m., which left us with a lot of time to kill before our set. Fortunately, there were a lot of great acts on the bill, among them a band called M-Tank.
Since that night I've been trying to think of a way to describe the band. My first thoughts were of The Minutemen and The Pixies, but those bands sound nothing like each other (and share only superficial similarities to M-Tank.) Besides, I've never found comparing the sound of one band to another to be a worthwhile endeavor.
M-Tank handed out free copies of their demo CD to some of us in the audience, and I've listened to it quite a bit during the last week. After the first listen I settled on an apt description of the band:
If punk rock happened in the 1960s, it would sound exactly like M-Tank.
They've given us permission to post the demo disc on our site, which you can get by CLICKING HERE (it's a Rapidshare link.)
You can find M-Tank at MySpace HERE.

We played New Brookland Tavern in Columbia, S.C., last Sunday night. Across the street from the club was the headquarters of a certain South Carolina politician. We stopped by to say hello.
